MARIA ISABEL “MARY” HOELLE

Maria Isabel “Mary” Hoelle is a founding partner of Lombana Hoelle Trial Law. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, civil litigation, arbitration, product liability and catastrophic personal injury. She represents individuals and corporate clients in multimillion-dollar disputes.
Ms. Hoelle has represented clients in disputes in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration panels. She has successfully represented clients before various Florida appellate courts. Ms. Hoelle is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Her experience includes representing both domestic and foreign litigants before U.S. courts. Additionally, Ms. Hoelle has experience litigating issues of jurisdiction and forum non-conveniens in both federal and Florida state courts. She has handled numerous international discovery requests through the Hague Convention on the Taking of Evidence Abroad in Civil or Commercial Matters. Ms. Hoelle’s practice also incorporates cross-border issues specifically involving Latin America and Mexico.
Ms. Hoelle is past chair and current member of Florida International University’s President’s Council Board, a member of The Florida Bar Trial Lawyers & International Law Sections, American Bar Association, Litigation Section, Miami-Dade County Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, Coral Gables Bar Association, Miami-Dade Trial Lawyer’s Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Hispanic National Bar Association.
Ms. Hoelle is a Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated lawyer and named to the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. She is fluent in Spanish.
